Making a Flash movie with a transparent background

In order to create floating banner ads, you need to have a transparent background within your Flash movie so that the web page will show through where there is no creative. In your Flash publish settings, set a new parameter called WMODE and set the value of that parameter to TRANSPARENT. This will remove the background color on your Flash movie and allow the web page to show through. All areas under the transparent area of your movie will be accessible as the floating banner ad is being displayed.
