How often to replace your banner ads online
As long as a banner ad is getting the desired results you are looking for, you should continue to run the ad. Statistics show that you should only show a banner ad to someone no more than three times. Not everyone agrees with that however. If your primary goal is to brand your product, repeated viewing of a banner ad can be very effective. If your goal is click throughs, set a frequency cap of three per user. If they have not clicked on it after seeing it three times, they probably never will.
