How to track clicks on your banner
There are a number of ways to track how many times someone clicks on your banner. Ad serving software used by most publishers track how many times your banner ad is clicked during an online ad campaign. It is advantageous to also track those clicks on your end to make sure the numbers correspond to what the publisher reports. One simple way to do this is to set up a unique landing page for each banner and track the number of visitors to that page. Another way is to use a tracking pixel, and record how many times that pixel is accessed. Finally, you can set up tracking software on your server and provide the publisher with an id number that you track using cookies.
