Make a GIF banner look like a text ad

Text ad links generally have a higher click through rate than banner ads, but if your only space available is a banner, you still can get the same effect with a static GIF ad. Use a professional HTML editor such as Dreamweaver and create your text ads within a table the size of your banner ad. Publish and view what you have created. Now, take a screen capture of what you see in your browser and move that into Photoshop. Crop it down to the size of your banner ad and you have an image that looks identical to text displayed in a browser, but can be saved out as a GIF
